Thanks to Father Sergio Serrano, O.P., for his 10 years of faithful service as Director of the Hispanic Apostolate. During his ministry as director, Father Sergio led many pastoral, spiritual and social initiatives that ministered to the Hispanic community in our Archdiocese. Thank you, Father Sergio.
Rev. Billy O’Riordan has served faithfully as Director of Seminarians for the Archdiocese of New Orleans for the past 9 years. Father Colm Cahill and the seminarians join me in thanking Father O’Riordan for his pastoral care of the seminarians and for his commitment to fostering vocations to the priesthood.
Rev. David Ducote will become Director of Seminarians, effective July 1, 2023. I remain very grateful to Father Ducote for his willingness to take on this additional responsibility while remaining pastor of St. Joan of Arc in LaPlace. His dedicated priestly ministry and his commitment to fostering vocations will enable him to serve the seminarians. Thank you, Father David Ducote and Father Billy O’Riordan.
