Free throw winners with the Knights of Columbus, Ascension of our Lord, Council 9623, Grand Knight Mike Abbate.
The Knights of Columbus, Ascension of Our Lord, Council 9623, recently sponsored a Basketball Free Throw Contest Jan. 11-19 at Ascension of our Lord School in LaPlace.These winners will advance to the district level scheduled Feb. 6 at St. Joan of Arc Family Center, 529 West 5th St., LaPlace. Registration is from 9-9:45 a.m.; contest begins at 9:45 a.m.
The Knights also announced local participants of the Keep Christ in Christmas contest.
