Catholic Schools Week 2021: Statistics, CSW Mass livestreamed

Catholic Schools Week is being celebrated Jan. 31-Feb. 6. Here are some facts and figures about our local Catholic schools.

►52 Catholic elementary schools, including 1 school for persons with disabilities

HOW MANY STUDENTS?
►19,958 elementary school students

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK MASS

​​​​​​​►The CSW Mass for 2021 will be Friday, Feb. 5, at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Metairie. The congregation will be St. Catherine students only. The Mass will be livestreamed on the St. Catherine of Siena Parish YouTube page. 

​​​​​​​►Our Lady of the Lake School in Mandeville will be recognized for its third Blue Ribbon of Excellence Award from the U.S. Department of Education.
