WGSO to air Loyola games

    Loyola University and WGSO 990 AM have renewed their partnership to broadcast 10 men’s basketball games for the 2011-12 season.
    WGSO will do a live broadcast starting Dec. 2 for the game against Shorter College. They will cover the following games for the remainder of the season: Dec. 3 vs. Emmanuel at 5 p.m.; Dec. 17 vs. Xavier at 4 p.m.; Jan. 12 vs. Spring Hill at 7:30 p.m.; Jan. 14 vs. UNO at 2 p.m.; Jan. 26 vs. William Carey at 7:30 p.m.; Jan. 28 vs. Auburn Montgomery at 4 p.m.; Feb. 11 vs. Faulkner at 4 p.m.; Feb. 16 vs. Belhaven at 7:30 p.m.; and Feb. 25 vs. Mobile at 4 p.m.     
    “We are again pleased to have our games broadcast live by Loyola alum Ken Trahan on WGSO,” said athletic director and head men’s basketball coach Michael Giorlando. “I want to remind our friends that the games will be streamed on (the radio station’s) Web site.”
