Students from Mount Carmel Academy (left), St. Mary’s Dominican (bottom left) and St. Paul’s School (bottom right) held food drives to collect items to help the needy for Thanksgiving.
Mount Carmel collected more than 2,600 non-perishable food items for Second Harvest Food Bank.
Dominican students, faculty and alumnae donated enough items and gift cards to fill 100 Thanksgiving baskets for nearby St. Rita Parish.
St. Paul’s annual drive resulted in a donation of 14 truck-loads (over 8,000 pounds of food) for the North Shore Food Bank in Covington.
