Lying in the manger
In the Bethlehem stable,
A tiny baby boy
Destined for something great.
As he lies there,
I look upon him.
The savior of our world,
My son, Jesus Christ.
So small and helpless,
Yet so perfect and divine.
The Son of God, the Messiah.
His humble beginnings,
His innocent mind,
Prophesied to save mankind.
As I see Him, I know that He is mine.
My sweet baby boy,
Who will carry the weight of the world
On his shoulders.
But as he lies there,
He is mine,
Unbeknownst to the world,
But everything to me.
